In this exclusive limited workshop Léna Blou will be teaching her internationally renowned techniques for the first time in the UK.

Lena is a workshop researcher, choreographer, dancer and teacher and is highly established in the America’s.

Her work is part of a growing pedagogy for modern Caribbean dance practice with her technique nourished by Gwoka aesthetics and contemporary movement. Léna has also developed ‘Techni’ka’ and the concept ‘bigidi’ which she teaches at the Dance and Choreographic Studies Centre in Pointe-á-Pitre, Guadeloupe and through unique masterclasses.

The class will be in French and translate by international academic Dr Gladys Francis
